Announcement of the New Production Facility at KRAUSS SIA

We are pleased to announce that at the end of 2024, KRAUSS SIA successfully implemented an investment project at our facility in Cesvaine Parish, Madona Municipality, which includes the construction of a new production building and yard, as well as the installation of new production equipment and machinery. As a result of this project, the most modern birch round wood sawmill in Europe has been commissioned.

The new facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, which will enable KRAUSS SIA not only to continue its growth but also to strengthen its position as a global processor of birch wood. Our goal is to produce high-quality products that meet market demands and promote sustainability in wood utilization.
