KRAUSS VISITING STUDENTS

Concerned about the sustainability of the company and thinking of the future, KRAUSS not only introduces new and modern technologies, but also considers the quality of the human resources that are and will be available for the future development of the production site.

KRAUSS feels a responsibility to raise awareness among the younger generation about the future prospects of the timber industry. So we embarked on a journey to visit students of the nearby educational institutions. Sharing with students what more about KRAUSS, what we do, our ambitions and what kind of team members we want to employ in the company.

On 21st of November 2023, we visited Pļaviņas Regional Secondary School and met with students from grades 9 to 12. During the meeting KRAUSS wanted to find out how much young people understand and know already today about the industry. And we were happy to answer all the questions they had.

We are pleased to support the Career Education Programme in schools. We may potentially have influenced a young person's career choice, not only in the wood industry but also in other professions or administrative positions that are essential for the success of any business.
